URBAN FORESTRY PROJECT MANAGER | WESTERN, NY
WHATYOU'LLDO:
*Sales and business development of urban forestry projects throughout the Western New York area including:
*Master planning, ordinance and legislation consultation *GIS and i-Tree analysis of urban forests and natural resources, tree inventories; risk tree Assessments and tree appraisals *Vegetation and natural resource surveys *Invasive and endangered species work *Green infrastructure and stormwater consulting projects *Software solutions, and grant funding assistance for municipalities and other clients.
*Grant writing *Marketing Collaboration with other DRG Business units, Davey offices, the Institute, and allied non-profit, industry, and educational partners. *Occasionally supports project work, including fieldwork, data analysis, report writing, and leading a Team of experts for urban forestry and natural resource management related jobs.
WHATWE'RELOOKINGFOR:
Experienced and holds a network within the local market and urban forestry. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related fields. *
Required: International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification *
Valid driver's license and good driving record. *
Excellent written, computer, and verbal communication skills, ability to facilitate meetings and presentations. *
Ability to work independently and to travel regionally.
